I was appointed as one of the advisors on Inter-Burundian Dialogue in which my input and consultations contributed the Burundi Peace Process to succeed by assisting the Facilitator Former Late President Benjamin Mkapa confer with all stakeholders in and outside Burundi and also with international actors, consult with political stakeholders on Burundi Peace Process, by contribution of my interventions strategies, skills and experience, they were successful brought on board, that laid a firm foundation for the peace process to succeed.
I contributed on a roadmap for the (Burundi Dialogue Process) which was developed, and continued undertaking regular consultations during the implementation, that developed consultative relationship with all stakeholders helpful to the healing process and remained seized of the commitment to a political process for sustainable peace and stability restored in Burundi.

In recognition of my expertise in peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and socio-political mediation, I was appointed as one of the Technical Advisors to the Facilitator of the Inter-Burundian Dialogue, the late Former President Benjamin Mkapa, tasked with supporting efforts to restore sustainable peace, reconciliation, and stability in Burundi.
The Inter-Burundian Dialogue was a critical platform established to address the longstanding political, social, and security tensions in Burundi, facilitating inclusive engagement among political parties, civil society, and other stakeholders. My appointment placed me at the core of technical advisory operations, providing analytical guidance, strategic consultations, and practical solutions to support the facilitation process.

1. Technical Advisory and Consultation:
- Provided expert analysis on the socio-political dynamics in Burundi, including historical grievances, power-sharing concerns, and governance challenges.
- Advised on conflict-sensitive approaches for dialogue sessions, ensuring inclusivity of minority and marginalized voices.
- Developed strategic frameworks for negotiation, consensus-building, and conflict de-escalation.
2. Roadmap Development for Sustainable Peace:
- Collaborated with the Facilitator’s team to design a phased roadmap that outlined short-term confidence-building measures and long-term structural reforms.
- Proposed actionable recommendations for power-sharing arrangements, security sector reforms, and transitional justice mechanisms.
- Assisted in identifying mechanisms for monitoring and implementing agreements, enhancing accountability and transparency.
