(Civic Education and Transformation)

First assignment: I got job opportunity in the Union of Political Parties in Kenya (Kenya African Democratic Development Union) as a national co-ordinator.

Through my strategic leadership, community-centered programming, and governance expertise, I strengthened KADDU’s capacity to deliver sustainable development and democratic engagement initiatives across vulnerable communities in Kenya. By integrating peacebuilding, civic education, women and youth empowerment, and policy advocacy, I enhanced stakeholder collaboration between grassroots actors, government institutions, and development partners.

My approach combined evidence-based programming, community dialogue frameworks, and inclusive participation models, resulting in improved civic awareness, strengthened local leadership structures, and increased community ownership of development initiatives. The projects I supported under KADDU advanced conflict prevention, enhanced democratic participation, and promoted socio-economic resilience among marginalized groups.

Through structured monitoring, partnerships, and strategic communication, KADDU initiatives under my contribution achieved measurable community impact, improved accountability mechanisms, and expanded networks for long-term sustainability.
